Hoy tambien hemos vividos 2 interesantes partidos :
Day 2 Women
de LEN, el Sábado, 21 de enero de 2012 a la(s) 11:02
GRE - GER
For the second day Germany managed to recover from their ten-goal loss to Spain. They staged a good performance though it was obvious that the game would be won by the World Champions. The Greek played their usual disciplined play, with Alexandra Asimaki in the spotlight: the LEN Award winner centre-forward scored three spectacular goals. Angeliki Gerolymu was also in her prime hitting five, securing another win for Greece.
HUN - NED
Hungary won a thriller against the Netherlands – a game worthy of a men’s contest with heroic efforts from both sides. It couldn’t have been closer: they stood 4-4 after the first period, and 5-5 at half-time. The Dutch got the upper-hand in the third, perhaps were a bit luckier and gained a 8-6 lead, but Hungary didn’t give in. What’s more their defence worked perfectly in the final quarter, their goalie, Bolonyai was simply brilliant and they stunned the home side by winning the last period 3-0.
