Gouda to host FINA Water Polo Referee School

The Royal Dutch Swimming Federation and the city of Gouda will host the FINA Water Polo School for Referees from 13 to 15 June. Each National Member Federation from Europe may nominate water polo referees for this course. The nomination must be received at the FINA Office in Lausanne (SUI) before the 30th of May 2014. The purpose of this course is to achieve the following objectives: enlarge the number of referees and enhance the quality of the existing referees; create a uniform pattern of interpretation and application of water polo rules, thus raising the quality of refereeing and use the school as an instrument to develop and promote water polo worldwide.
