Shturm 2002 Ruza wins LEN Trophy

 With a second win in game 2 of the finals the Russian side of Shturm 2002 Ruza have won the LEN Trophy in dominating fashion on Wednesday. Fellow Russians Izmailovo Moscow were defeated 14-11 in Ruza after having suffered a 10-17 loss at home in Moscow two weeks earlier. Alexandra Antonova (pictured) was on fire for the home side. The 2012 Olympian for Russia scored a team-high six goals while teammate Evgeniya Ivanova netted a triple for Shturm. Their offensive performance was topped by Izmailovo's Diana Antonova who scored no less than seven goals for this year's runners-up. It's the second ever LEN Trophy victory for Shturm after having clinched the team's first overall win back in 2009.
