Felipe Perrone leads Jug to cup victory
After three straight wins Primorje was dethroned as Croatian cup winner on Sunday in Zadar. Jug emerged victorious in the 2015-2016 final 10-8, led by Felipe Perrone's 5 goals. The Brazilian driver was a force for his new employer who took control in the second and third period and held on in a high-scoring final session that featured a total of 8 hits. Centre forward Josip Vrlic, also team-mates with Perrone when playing for Barceloneta earlier, added an important 3 goals to the victory. For Primorje fellow centre forward Cosmin Radu and Andelo Setka scored 2 goals each leading their team. With the win Jug grabbed its first cup triumph since 2010 and the 11th in team history.Croatian cup

Jug, Primorje in expected Croatian cup final
Thanks to two large wins in the semifinals Croatian powerhouses Jug and Primorje will square off in Sunday's expected, yet anticipated Croatian cup final in Zadar. Jug had no trouble overcoming Jadran Split who were defeated 12-5, led by Maro Jokovic and Felipe Perrone with 3 goals apiece. Primorje posted a blowout win over Mornar: 5-21. Ivan Buljubasic earned top scoring honours netting 4 shots. At 16.15 hrs local time the defending champions meet their domestic rivals once more in a rematch of last year's cup and play-offs finals.
