UCLA wins ninth NCAA title with 9-8 victory over USC
Top-seeded UCLA has won its ninth NCAA title and 112th in UCLA history with a 9-8 win over six-time defending champion USC on Sunday afternoon at UCSD's Canyonview Aquatic Center in La Jolla, California. The UCLA Bruins earned their first NCAA championship since 2004. UCLA's Gordon Marshall (Australia) hit the game winner of the tense final with just 0.34 to go.
