Mladost and Primorje will battle for this year's Croatian cup on Sunday. The spot for Primorje was expected after drawing Medvescak as the semi-final opponent and never in doubt in 23-3 blowout win. Mladost however created a little upset as they eliminated Primorje's main rivals Jug 9-12 in the semis on Saturday. Led by a strong goalie Josip Pavic slowly but surely Mladost managed to not only gain a slim advantage but also held on and posted a convincing 9-12 victory to set up a big final meeting with defending champions Primorje on Sunday. Duje Zivkovic and Ante Vukicevic netted 3 each for the winner, Aussie Shark Aaron Younger produced the same offensive performance for Jug.
