Russia, France and Georgia still unbeaten in Budapest qualifiers

Russia, France and Georgia are remaining unbeaten after the second-leg tournaments in the first-round qualification competition for the men's 2014 European Championships, but both teams had lost their first points after one draw each at the competitions in Kosice, Slovakia or rather Gorzow Wlkp, Poland. The shooting stars from Georgia had a 4-0-0 run at the five-team-tournament at Gzira, Malta to catch up to the two current leaders. Slovenia and Slovakia are remaining in a good position for one of the crucial top six spots  The results of today's matches are follows:

The second-leg tournaments in the first-round qualification competition for the Men's 2014 European Championships are providing the first double game day at the pretty competitive group in Kosice, Slovakia. Here the local heroes started with a 26-7 scoring festival against Switzerland in the morning session will face top-seeded France tonight in the top match of this pool. The French lost the first points in the qualififers by an 8-8 tie against Great Britain. Today's fixtures and results are as follows:

Comfortable wins for France, Great Britain, Slovakia - Budapest qualifiers results

 The three second-leg tournaments in the first-round qualification competition for the Men's 2014 European Championships started today in Malta, Slovakia and Poland. In Malta both Georgia and Belarus started with a win. For Georgia it ment a clear result against Israel recording a five-goal win. Home side Malta looked well underway to a nice victory gaining a 6-4 lead at half time against Belarus before the 'visitors' stormed back through a 1-5 run in the third period and went up winning by just a single goal: 10-11. In Slovakia France, Great Britain and the hosts all noted big wins. France rolled past Moldova 21-9, followed by Great Britain opening their second round in a comfortable victory over Switzerland 18-6. Hosts Slovakia closed out day 1 letting Denmark no chance: 21-4. In Poland Russia started off trashing Portugal 16-4 followed by Slovenia gaining a nice results by beating hosts Poland 6-11. The schedules ands results are as follows:
